he story of Loulou sprung from a search for identity. Like many young adults, my strive for being someone unique and honestly myself has been a long journey
of insecurity. My personality was quickly defined by gender and its norms. I wanted to rebel and contest any femininity “forced” onto me, however, I understood that the expression of my gender was my choice and that womanhood is not weakness and is not solely defined by its physical and external connotations. It’s about choice.
Today I embrace my gender without shame. I do not feel the need to be feminine, yet I do not refuse to be. I enjoy what I enjoy about being a woman, and I am free as such.
Loulou’s story is heavily influenced by my personal journey to womanhood. Loulou questions gender and its true meaning. Beyond associating with the opposite gender, Loulou’s journey is about wanting to be present, to feel yourself in space, in time. It’s a journey about feeling what is right for you, for your body and mind.

find poetry in exploring the clashes and connections between two characters of opposite personalities, and how that can inspire change. With Sticky End I wanted
to combine that with a genre-based influence and make a stylised film about a situation that begets or changes relationships.

A Christmas Carol into a thriller, gangster environment which opened up into a dark comedy with quirky characters invading into a man’s mundane life.

a Chambre de Claire’s overall tone, visual and structure style was inspired by Roland Barthes’ La Chambre Claire in which photography is explored as a medium that
expresses a lasting emotional effect on its spectator. The film seeks a direct relationship between camera and subject emphasising on themes of Loss and Grief.
As an answer to Bathes, I pursued a poetic tone as well as an almost true-to-life and amateur style in order to frame this love letter to a deceased friend and sibling.

ounded started as a proof-of-concept for a larger story exploring themes of Nature versus Industrialism and its societal impact told through a thriller-fantasy context.
Visually, it played off of eerie feelings in an otherwise warm and fantastical environment.
